 Killed in Balad, Iraq, when an improvised explosive device detonated near his M1A2 Abrams Tank during combat operations in Taji, Iraq. 

My name is Maegan, i was a close friend of Jared Raymond. I have attached a couple of pictures that i hope you will post for all of his friends. His name was Jared John Raymond, and he was killed in Balad, Iraq on September 19th 2006. He is dearly missed by all of his friends and family and we will never let him be forgotten. Our small town of Swampscott has dedicated a town square in his honor, we all love him very much. Thank you
